I’m a creative, married Mum to two little boys and a girl, with a passion for sewing and creating sentimental keepsakes, around family life, from my little home, based in Leeds. Alongside my business, I spend my evenings working for the NHS in one of my local hosptals.
I have always been one for capturing memories, whether that be taking pictures, collecting post cards on holidays or saving items that remind me of particular good times in my life.
After the birth of my children I felt compelled to capture their memories and so I found a way to do that not only for myself, but for them too and then for others!
Crafting has always been a passion of mine and over the years my self-taught sewing skills grew from first producing little fabric dolls to the personalised keepsake product-range you see today, with each one holding a story to be told from priceless memories of a loved one.
Designing and then creating each individual keepsake and the challenges each one presents really excites me, as it appeals to my creative talents in terms of which materials and colours to use in the pattern and where to incorporate the lovely embroidered message – developing the personality of the finished piece.
My 17 years of sewing experience has come in very handy!
